Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting new opportunity to join us as a FIFO Haulage Site Supervisor with the Merkanooka team.

If required we offer one paid flight (return flight) on a 2/1 roster from Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville, Hobart, Launceston, Burnie & Darwin.
We now also offer one paid flight (return flight) on the 2/1 roster to various airports across Southeast Asia (e.g. Bali/Thailand & Philippines) and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide open, effective & efficient leadership to crews of Road Train Operators, Watercart, Grader & Loader Operators, Safety Personnel & Site Administrators
* Safeguard daily operations to ensure production is achieved in a safe and proficient manner
* Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with our client and sub-contractors
* Communicate effectively with your team ensuring a constructive, positive, safe and productive work environment
* Provide comprehensive reporting to management team on haulage achievements, challenges and improvements

* We offer a competitive base salary plus superannuation on all 12.5 hours worked
* Weekly pay (even on R & R)
* Paid annual leave (20 days) & sick pay (10 days)
To be considered for this role
* 3-5+ years prior experience in a similar mine site-based Haulage Supervisory role with a knowledge of load & haul, road maintenance and transport operations
* Enjoy working in a team environment where you bring your professionalism and your positive attitude to our crew
* Confident communication and ability to effectively liaise with other employees, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors
* WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022, Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor Appointment or willingness to obtain
* Australian working rights
* National Police Check or ability to obtain one
