Partnering with clients from diverse sectors, you will undertake practical work with complex and diverse datasets, focusing on designing, building, maintaining, and enhancing scalable data pipelines and ensuring efficient data architecture. What you’ll do:

Manage end-to-end delivery of technology projects within the Data & AI portfolio, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.Coordinate and lead multi-skilled, diverse project teams, providing day-to-day direction and supporting team members' development and performance.Serve as a key point of contact for clients on delivery matters, maintaining regular communication on progress, risks, and issues.Draft and present weekly status updates and steering committee packs to client stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the engagement.Establish and manage agile boards and ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) appropriate to the project's delivery methodology.Manage project scope and implement change control processes, assessing the impact of changes on timelines, resources, and commercials.Maintain risk, issue, and dependency registers, proactively identifying and escalating concerns with recommended project planning activities including milestone planning, work breakdown structures, resource forecasting, and capacity management.Track project financials including budgets, forecasts, and margins. Manage the invoicing process to ensure timely and accurate billing aligned with contractual milestones.Maintain project governance artefacts such as RAID logs, decision registers, and status reports to PwC's quality standards.Coordinate with third-party vendors and technology partners where applicable, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.Collaborate with solution architects, technical leads, and business analysts to ensure delivery aligns with the agreed solution design and client requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, tools, and templates across the Data & AI practice.Support business development activities including effort estimation and input into proposal development.


What we’re looking for:

Experience managing technology project delivery, ideally within consulting, professional services, or complex enterprise environments.Practical experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid delivery methodologies. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) are well regarded.Experience leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across varying skill sets and seniority levels.Sound understanding of project financials, including budget tracking, forecasting, and invoicing within a professional services context.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present delivery updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Solid problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to managing risks and issues.Familiarity with data engineering concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) sufficient to engage credibly with technical teams and clients.Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or Smartsheet.A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams.Experience delivering technology projects in sectors such as financial services, energy, government, or health is advantageous.
