About the role
We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician, Electrician or Sub Contractor to join our team at Northern Air Repair in Cairns, QLD. This role will involve the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems for our commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning and refrigeration system issues
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of HVAC equipment
Minor electrical repairs and installations if you are a qualified electrician.
Install new air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with industry regulations
Maintain detailed records and provide progress updates to the team
What we're looking for
Trade qualification as an Air Conditioning Technician or Trade Electrician
Minimum 1 years' experience working in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry
Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Sound understanding of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
Reliable and punctual with a commitment to quality workmanship
