The Technical Lead will liaise between ADATS and the Commonwealth (notably Surveillance and Control System program Office (S&CSPO;) CAF12 & 44WG). The co-ordinator is the first point of contact with regards to ADATS and Non ADATS Supplementary Equipment (NASE) engineering and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Screen and attend to a broad range of enquiries, identify needs and redirect as appropriate.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Provide adequate and agile responsiveness to emerging requests
Receipt and initial review of Configuration Control Board (CCB) task proposal documents ('packs') for review.
Coordinate and facilitate necessary working groups meetings and mandatory design reviews.
Preparation of Task Review Board presentations;
Provision of task milestone dates to the OPP Scheduler in conjunction with the Manage & Deliver Task Coordinator.
Preparation and submission of Survey and Quote documents to the Commonwealth as required including Endorsement to Proceed (ETP), Section 23, AE643.
Perform sustainment engineering activity management tasks, including providing the Commonwealth with assistance in preparation of procurement artefacts.
Provide technical support to execution teams.
Engaging a broad range of stakeholders at varying authority levels.
Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to determine solution architecture outcomes.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Associate Diploma in a relevant technical discipline.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to understand and communicate the concerns of different stakeholders.
Demonstrated defence knowledge and 9 years' experience within the aerospace engineering, maintenance or logistics role discipline.
Defence Force (ADF) military aircraft logistics support setting exposure (desirable).
Exposure to Six Sigma and / or Lean concepts and methodologies (desirable).
