About the role Reporting to the Head of Public Affairs, the Media & Corporate Communications Advisor is responsible for sharing Brisbane Airport's story in alignment with the strategic initiatives and priorities identified in its business plan.
This position is responsible for providing media relations advice to all business units, corporate communications, crisis and issues management assistance and general communications expertise.
This role supports the Media and Corporate Communications Manager with the day-to-day management of media relations and public relations outreach, the creation of engaging digital content, assistance in shaping the organisation's key public messaging and the development of required publications.
Additionally, you will help develop and inform content across social platforms and channels and play an important role supporting business units in the development and delivery of media communications plans.
Qualifications About you You like to be part of a happy, high performing team and take pride in making a difference through doing great work.
You will be tertiary qualified in a relevant field, with several years of media and/or corporate communications experience.
Of course, for a role such as this, you will require exemplary written communication skills and a history of preparing quality communication products for various channels, purposes, and audiences in an accurate, timely, consistent and customer-focused manner.
We are seeking a motivated individual, who is capable of building and maintaining productive relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Whilst previous airline or airport experience would be great, if you\'re someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at managing multiple priorities, we would love to hear from you, because that is a day in the life at Brisbane Airport.
