About the role
This role works with a dynamic team responsible for delivering a fast-paced and impactful program of work to solve complex operational challenges facing NSW schools, while ensuring our students, teachers, school leadership and support staff are at the centre of everything we do. As a Project Manager, you will drive the delivery of improvement opportunities to drive operational best practice and address workload challenges for our schools.
This role will see you:
·Manage and oversee all aspects of the project management cycle, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget
·Lead a coordinated and collaborative approach to delivering, and enabling operational best practice and project solutions in a fast-paced environment while ensuring a constant focus on outcomes associated with reducing administrative burden for schools
·Work closely and collaboratively with project leads and stakeholders across the Department to gain an in-depth understanding of current operational issues and deliver projects to improve efficiency and ensure meaningful value for our schools
·Coach and support team members in leveraging problem-solving techniques to design, develop and deliver operational improvement solutions, including elicitation and documentation of requirements and analysis of improvement opportunities
·Enable awareness of operational best practice across the organisation and establish mechanisms to manage and share knowledge

Skills and Experience
·Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience is desirable and advantageous but not essential
·Experience in working in a large, complex organisation on change and/or workforce transformation projects)
·Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s and upholding the and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
