The Data Warehousing / Business Intelligence (DW/BI) team is responsible for designing and maintaining data warehouses, integrating and cleansing data from various sources, and optimising data storage and retrieval. The team creates reports, dashboards, and predictive models to provide actionable insights, support decision-making, and drive business performance. We collaborate with cross-functional departments, ensuring data security and compliance, and provide user training and support. As a Data Modeller Manager, you will work with and support the Senior Data Analyst, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data insights and reports. Ensure data quality and integrity across all data sources. Collaborate with business units and other platforms within the IT department to align data initiatives with business goals. Support data warehousing and ETL processes. Facilitate and implement strategic insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Ensure the timely delivery of accurate and actionable data insights. Mentor and guide junior analysts in their professional development. What we’re looking for: Technology Specific Experience Designing event and API schemas (Avro/Protobuf/JSON Schema, OpenAPI), using schema registries, and managing compatibility strategies. Proficiency with modelling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, PowerDesigner) and schema/version management practices and tools (e.g., Git, dbt, Liquibase/Flyway). Designing and optimizing data models for Medallion architectures. MDM and reference data management, including golden-record design, identifiers, hierarchies, and integration patterns. Metadata and catalog tools and processes (e.g., Collibra, Alation), lineage, and data documentation at scale. Industry Experience Data modelling across conceptual, logical, and physical layers, delivering enterprise-scale models across multiple domains (HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Risk etc) Establish and enforce modelling standards, naming conventions, and design patterns; maintain the model repository, data dictionary, and metadata. Knowledge of multiple modelling paradigms (3NF/normalized, dimensional/Kimball, Data Vault, wide tables) and when to apply each. Other Specific Role Requirements Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with ability to translate between business and technical teams. Skilled in assessing and prioritizing AI opportunities based on value and feasibility, balancing ambition, risk, and delivery constraints. Experienced in process mapping, requirements definition, stakeholder engagement, and confident collaborating with senior stakeholders. Clear communication skills for executive and delivery audiences, supported by formal education in business or related fields and foundational AI training.
