Compliance Officer Role Overview
The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service seeks an experienced Compliance Officer to provide expert advice and support across all corporate governance processes.
The successful candidate will develop and implement robust Governance and Compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures ensuring compliance across the health service.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage legislative compliance functions including tracking, recording, and escalation of obligations as appropriate.
* Support stakeholders to understand legal requirements and assist compliance owners to identify relevant evidence and complete compliance reviews.
* Identify actual and potential breaches/non-compliance, vulnerabilities, and risks, and support owners to develop and implement corrective actions.
