Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Buyer to join our team. As a key member of the Commercial function, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and maximising profit in line with our commercial vision.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing winning category strategies across wholesale and platform
* Analysing sales data and market trends to keep our product offering fresh, exciting and competitive
* Managing budgets, vendor contracts and financial targets
* Nurturing long-term partnerships with key suppliers and negotiating for the best deals
* Mentoring assistant buyers and helping develop the next generation of buying talent
* Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Marketing and Sustainability teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and achieve shared goals
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of experience in buying, with a proven track record of driving sales and growth in your category
* Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills
* Proficiency in Jira, Excel, BI tools and familiarity with API integrations, platform software and AI tools
* A passion for collaboration, mentoring and making things happen together
