Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Grade1 Occupational Therapist to provide assessment and intervention services at The Alfred Hospital. The position is full‐time with a 80‐hour fortnightly schedule and a mandatory seven‐day model of care. The incumbent may be required to assist with weekend service provision on a periodic basis.
Responsibilities
* Provide Occupational Therapy services within a designated clinical caseload appropriate to your level of experience and competency.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‐quality assessment and intervention to patients.
* Deliver care across a range of clinical areas: acute (general medicine, orthopaedics, neurotrauma, medical specialties, general surgery), subacute (neuro, spinal, acquired brain injury, aged care), and community/home‐based settings.
* Participate in ongoing clinical supervision and professional development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent.
* MOT practitioner or recognised equivalent.
* Full registration held with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia at the time of application.
* Recent experience in acute or subacute inpatient services, either working or on placement.
