Motor Mechanic Job
We are seeking a skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team. As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles to ensure safety, performance, and reliability.
* Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicles (passenger cars, light commercials, SUVs, 4x4s)
* Conduct scheduled servicing (minor, major) according to manufacturer and shop standards
* Perform diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical and braking faults
* Repair and replace components (engines, transmissions, steering, cooling, fuel systems, exhausts etc.)
* Carry out inspections and prepare work estimates
Requirements
* Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)
* Tradesperson Automotive – Mechanical license preferred
* Proven 1 year of experience as a motor mechanic, especially servicing, diagnostics, and repair of petrol/diesel light vehicles
* Strong knowledge of tyre fitting, balancing, wheel alignment
* Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools / software
