We are looking to recruit a Gardener to join a small team who are responsible for looking after the general grounds.
This role is physically demanding and will involve heavy duties such as manual handling and digging, specifically for tree and shrub planting and transporting duties.
This role is based outdoors and can include lone working.
The role includes but not limited to:
* Grass cutting
* Weeding
* Planting
The successful candidate ideally has
* A wide hands knowledge of gardening and ground maintenance
* Knowledge of health & safety practices in completing daily tasks
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Holds a driving license in order to make use of heavy machinery and company vehicles.
The working schedule for this role is typically 7am – 12 midday and can include weekend work. This role requires some flexibility for accommodating seasonal closed days or peak period days for working additional hours.
