The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic Supply Management Director to lead all aspects of Supply across Australia, including Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, and Logistics. This pivotal role will spearhead delivering the transformation of our supply function by implementing best-in-class procurement processes and disciplined supply chain planning to optimise end-to-end supply costs.
You will be accountable for driving sustainable improvements and delivering results that align with Sodexo's strategic business objectives. Your leadership will shape a centre-led procurement framework that secures market-leading sourcing solutions while meeting the needs of internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Best in Class Procurement Processes
Deliver the transformation of procurement processes through a consistent Source to Contract process supported by the implementation and adoption of best-in-class systems.
Support the development of the team to secure market leading outcomes aimed at improving business profitability.
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership & Planning
Along with the team, develop and execute a supply chain vision aligned with Australian growth and global strategies.
Support the company's future direction and tactical initiatives.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
Lead the adoption of enhanced supply chain planning to optimise demand and supply.
Ensure compliance with governance, audits, policies, and legislation.
Provide tools to support effective financial management.
Build strategic partnerships and lead supplier negotiations to maximise value.
Drive supplier consolidation and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
Provide leadership and coaching to develop a high-performing supply management team.
Champion Sodexo values, diversity, and corporate social responsibility.
Bid Support & Customer Service
Ensure supply chain involvement in bid processes to maximise success.
Maintain service levels and adapt to changing customer needs.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree (Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field); post-graduate qualifications preferred.
CIPS or industry-recognised supply chain certifications desirable.
Strong experience in mature procurement environments in a leadership role.
Experience in planning, S&OP, and IBP.
Minimum 5 years executive leadership experience in Procurement and/or Supply functions.
Proven ability to manage supply chains across wide geographic areas and global environments.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated success in change management and project delivery.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment with strong multitasking capabilities.
