**The Opportunity.**

Do you enjoy a customer facing role bringing into play your love for organizing, planning, and launching outstanding events? As the Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and support of key internal and external events for Cochlear Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) business.

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will be responsible for implementing marketing and event activities across Australia & New Zealand. This role provides critical operational support to the delivery of our Professional and Consumer education and training events. This role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical Affairs, Professional Marketing to prepare, co-ordinate and support delivery of in-person and/or virtual events according to event objectives, budget and timelines.

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure executional excellence in our Professional and Consumer events and serves as the primary point of contact for communication with the accredited bodies such as Audiology Australia, HAASA and AcAud.

- Support execution of Professional education and training, working collaboratively with Professional Marketing and Clinical Affairs team.
- Manage administration of Professional Education activities spanning on-demand learning on Cochlear Academy for Professionals, live online events, in-person events and training.
- Deliver relevant reporting to ensure accreditation requirements have been met within set timelines and coordinate relevant endorsement with Professional associations.
- Prepare for event participation and logistics for a variety of events such as: professional education and training, online events, consumer information meetings, national conferences, product launch events and other state-based events.
- Manage a variety of responsibilities such as sponsorship/contract, accommodation/travel, event registration, logistics and post event reporting.
- Manage external vendors to ensure event deliverables are met according to deadlines.
- Create and maintain online registration pages and report on attendees list.
- Conduct post-event administration for accreditation purposes if required.
- Coordinate major and ad hoc internal events such as ANZ Cycle meetings and Annual Sales Kick-Off meetings (in-person and/or virtual).
- Serve as local contact for major international conferences (e.g. ESPCI, APSCI) to ensure effective communication and consistent alignment.

**Ideal.**
- Demonstrated end to end event management skills and direct event management experience
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in the healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industry.
- Experience with online platforms and event management tools such as CVENT, GoToWebinar, Learning Management Systems.
