About the team CommBank's Market Operations business is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our function and contribute to achieving operational excellence. The Markets Operations team is accountable for overall operations, as well as enablement functions, within Market Operations. The service provided by this team is critical to success of the organisation. Do work that matters The Senior Technical Business Analyst – works alongside the Market Operations to provide business analysis services and specialist support for Reconciliations in Market Operations and COO. You will be part of a team that will define the requirements and help execute the roadmap and support the uplift of reconciliations. You will: Provide business analysis services and specialist support for Reconciliations in Market Operations and COO. Gather and document information, conducts analyses of business needs through elicitation and management of business, functional and non-functional requirements. Liaise and maintain relationships with stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organisation, and to recommend solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goal. Complete and oversee project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability. Provide ongoing assistance to support teams for functionality released into production. Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes. Identify project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary. Evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools. Convert business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture. Driving delivery activities such as change planning, coordination and execution. Work with innovative technology partners. What skills you will possess: Demonstrated experience working as a Technical Business Analyst. An understanding of reconciliations within global markets. A good understanding of Wallstreet and Murex Experience using Jira as well as data analysis and modelling. Experience working in an Agile project environment. Understanding the importance of controls and high-risk management in day-to-day activities with ability to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks. Ability to capture business requirements in a clear and concise manner and to keep the customer in mind when clarifying and questioning technical requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills-ability to communicate ideas and vision effectively and with impact to business and technical teams.
