The role

In this multifaceted position, you will provide high quality 1st and 2nd level IT Support through our Service Desk and via on-site assistance. You'll troubleshoot technical issues, maintain our desktop, server, and network environments, and support key business applications. The role also includes managing security and facilities systems across our sites and contributing to a range of IT projects that enhance and evolve our technology landscape.


Key Responsibilities

* Deliver 1st and 2nd level support including troubleshooting, ticket management and resolution
* Support end users across devices, business applications, telephony and standard operating systems
* Provide training and guidance to ensure effective use of IT systems to end users
* Monitor and report on system performance and recommend improvements, and assist with technology assessments and IT policy development
* Maintain IT infrastructure/equipment including switches, routers, printers and wireless infrastructure
* Support server infrastructure and ensure systems meet service requirements
* Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
* Maintain security access systems, CCTV and related equipment
* Contribute to IT project planning, documentations and reporting
* Liaise between IT providers and internal stakeholders
* Any other duties relevant to the role


Requirements

* Relevant post‑secondary qualification in Information Technology, Computer science or a related discipline
* 2 + years' experience in delivering Level 1 / 2 information technology support services, including desktop, server and network experience in a commercial environment
* Ability to build and maintain strategic networks with a range of stakeholders
* Strong communication skills (written and oral)
* Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
* Ability to support business cases, manage change and contribute to projects
