Account Development Manager - Growth and Impact
As a key member of our Professional Hygiene team, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, building strong partnerships, and delivering value to our customers and communities.
Our ideal candidate is a high-performing B2B professional with the ambition to grow and the confidence to engage at a senior level. You will be comfortable leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), eager to learn, and bring strong commercial acumen.
We are looking for a driven and strategic Account Development Manager to join our team. This is your opportunity to make a real impact by shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy.
About the Role:
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to exceed sales targets.
* Lead contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with pricing and product strategies.
* Conduct impactful QBRs with key partners.
* Identify and address training needs for distributors, focusing on innovation and sustainability.
* Resolve account issues efficiently to maintain high satisfaction levels.
* Drive new business opportunities using data-driven insights and market knowledge.
* Expand national end-user accounts through additional categories and proprietary systems.
* Execute profit improvement strategies and manage aged debt sustainably.
* Build and manage a robust pipeline of national opportunities through the full sales cycle.
* Deliver compelling business presentations tailored to diverse stakeholders.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Service teams.
* Provide accurate forecasting and strategic reporting to the National Sales Manager.
Requirements:
* Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
* Skilled at building strong relationships with distributor partners, end-users, and internal teams.
* Confident presenting to and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with strong time management and the ability to work autonomously.
* Experienced in solution selling, ideally trained in methodologies such as Challenger.
* Commercially savvy, with a strong grasp of customer profitability and proposal economics.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with excellent communication skills.
* Holds a current driver's license and access to a car.
* Willing and able to travel across VIC and NSW.
