BLACKROC is partnering with a well-established organisation to secure a Cloud Engineer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer to work across Azure and Microsoft 365 in a supportive, team-based environment.
Role Purpose
This role focuses on supporting and enhancing the organisation's cloud platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective services while contributing to ongoing optimisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Azure infrastructure including compute, networking, and security
* Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
* Assist with identity management using Entra ID
* Support Conditional Access, MFA, and RBAC implementations
* Monitor cloud environments and assist with troubleshooting
* Contribute to security improvements and risk mitigation
* Assist with licensing and cost optimisation initiatives
* Support SaaS integrations and SSO
Required Skills and Experience
* Experience working with Azure and/or Microsoft 365
* Understanding of identity and access management concepts
* Exposure to cloud security best practices
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
* PowerShell scripting experience (or willingness to learn)
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
* Exposure to Microsoft security tooling or compliance platforms
* Familiarity with cost optimisation or cloud financial management
