Ventia is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial outcomes across major telecommunications programs. About The Role
You will lead and oversee commercial and contractual outcomes across large‐scale telecommunications projects, supporting operational teams while maintaining strong client engagement. The role balances hands‐on commercial leadership with strategic oversight, governance and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you'll:
* Lead major variations, claims and commercial negotiations across projects.
* Manage upstream commercial performance, including subcontractor contracts, risk and cost control.
* Provide senior commercial advice on contract interpretation, risk and dispute strategy.
* Drive governance, compliance and reporting across commercial obligations.
* Lead revenue assurance and cost optimisation initiatives to protect margin.
* Act as the primary escalation point for complex client disputes.
* Foster a collaborative, customer‐focused culture and support capability development within the commercial team.
Are you our next Senior Commercial Manager?
* Significant experience in commercial management within telecommunications, infrastructure or major projects.
* Strong understanding of contract and construction law, commercial risk and project finance.
* Proven experience leading complex negotiations, claims and contractual outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver results in operational environments.
* Strategic thinker with a strong customer focus and commercial acumen.
* Experience leading or mentoring commercial teams is highly regarded.
