A leading company are seeking a reliable and organized Storeman with a valid forklift license to assist with the warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of goods.
Job Responsibilities:
* Receive, unload, and store incoming deliveries in the warehouse.
* Safely operate a forklift to move and stack goods as required.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure inventory records are up-to-date.
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
* Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
* Assist with stocktaking and inventory audits.
* Check products for quality and report any discrepancies or damages.
* Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of materials and goods.
* Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
* Assist with general warehouse duties, including labeling and sorting products.
* Maintain equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs.
Requirements:
* Valid forklift license and experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
* Previous experience as a Storeman or Warehouse Worker is highly desirable.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
* Strong commitment to health and safety practices.
* Basic computer skills for inventory management (experience with warehouse management systems is a plus).
* Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Hours: Monday / Friday – 7:30am to 3:36pm
