Accountant – Full-Time – Sydney
DSD Interiors is seeking an experienced Accountant to support the financial management of projects across our construction and interiors divisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
* Track project costs, variations, and cash flow
* Reconcile accounts payable and receivable linked to project activities
* Manage subcontractor and supplier payment runs
* Provide financial insights and variance analysis to project teams
* Support month‐end reporting and management accountsMentor junior accounts staff
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
About You
* 5+ years of accounting experience with a head contractor (construction or fit‐out)
* Bachelor of Accountancy or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
* CPA qualified, or actively working toward certification
* Strong understanding of project costing, cash flow, profit & loss, balance sheets, and revenue recognition
* Experience with Xero and Procore (essential); QuickBooks desirable
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
