* Provide visionary leadership across the organization's five strategic pillars: advocacy, profile, education, membership, and organisational sustainability.
* Lead organisational change to ensure the structure is fit for future national growth and member needs.
* Ensure strong financial management of the organisation's finances and embedding sound accounting practices.
* Champion good governance, working closely with the Board to embed best-practice planning, management, and reporting.
* Advocate for policies that support sustainable, inclusive design and amplify the voice of landscape architecture in government and industry forums.
* Strengthen partnerships across the design, planning, and built environment sectors to position the organisation as a leading national voice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in business management, entrepreneurship, or related fields.
* Experience working with and reporting to a Board to manage governance, reporting and financial management requirements.
* Strong communication skills and ability to inspire others with vision and purpose.
* Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments with diplomacy and credibility.
* Leadership skills to drive high-impact initiatives and deliver measurable impact.
