You will lead a team of aquatic ecologists and mentor junior team members, building and developing industry-leading expertise.
As a key member of our team, you will work on high-impact projects across our diverse client base while shaping the direction of aquatic ecology within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead planning and implementation of field-based data collection according to regulatory requirements.
2. Deliver projects across multiple sectors, ensuring they meet time, scope, cost, and quality requirements.
3. Prepare clear, science-based technical reports that withstand community and regulatory scrutiny.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in ecology or environmental science related discipline.
* Ability to build relationships, manage projects, and contribute to business development activities.
* Knowledge and experience with aquatic fauna sampling methods.
* Experience with statistical packages and data analysis as it relates to aquatic ecology data.
* Proven experience with preparing winning proposals for projects.
* Strong understanding of statutory frameworks and science-based approaches governing water management.
