Our heritage and archaeology expertise helps clients recognise the cultural heritage of assets, unlocking opportunities for present and future communities.
As a Senior Archaeology Consultant, every day is different You'll make an impact by:
* Leading consultation, delivery of projects and various fieldwork in accordance with the relevant legislative guidelines and protocols
* Undertaking detailed research, interpretation, and report writing, that accurately reflects the client's needs
* Developing client and stakeholder relationships by building trust, providing quality advice and managing expectations
* Managing small to medium size projects, including scoping and costing of projects, tracking job costs and coordinating consultants and sub-consultants, when necessary
* Directing and assisting more junior staff with assessments, field surveys and excavations, including in regional areas.

We know everyone is different and bring different strengths and passions with them. In addition to yours, we're keen to connect with you if you bring the following experiences and attributes:
* A tertiary qualification in archaeology coupled with relevant experience in the archaeology industry
* At least 5 years of demonstrated archaeology experience and strong track record within a similar role at similar level
* Demonstrated ability to undertake complex archaeology and heritage research and methodologies; and present a comprehensive analysis of findings.
* A proficient understanding of and ability to apply statutory heritage legislation, principles and the Heritage Act 1977, National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 (NPW Act) and the National Parks and Wildlife Regulations 2019 (NPW Regulations 2019); to resolve and advise on projects
* Able to lead field teams on surveys and excavations, including in regional areas.
