Guideline ACT is seeking a qualified Heavy Plant Diesel Mechanic to manage the maintenance and repair of its mixed fleet of Earthmoving plant, Trucks and Vehicles out of its workshop in Queanbeyan. Qualified motor vehicle technicians who are interested may be considered for the role.
The role is a full-time permanent position, working hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm. An attractive renumeration package including a vehicle will be offered depending on experience.
It is a hands on position with some administration including the supervision of an apprentice and other workshop staff as required.
The ideal applicant would be an energetic, enthusiastic person, motivated to becoming an effective member of the overall Guideline ACT management team. Recognised qualifications and demonstrated experience is essential. Management experience, however, is not essential for the right person, you are encouraged to apply if feel you are ready to transition to a more senior role, as training and support will be provided.
