Job Description:
* Permanent Part Time position 24hrs per week AM shift on the Mental Health Aged Care level

About the Role
You will provide support services for our Mental Health aged care residents, working as part of a team to deliver best practice care. Responsibilities include assisting with food prep, cleaning, laundry, and supporting residents' needs, abilities, and choices.
* Assist in preparing meals and coordinating daily menu and beverage choices
* Wash residents’ meal plates and ensure kitchen cleanliness
* Assist with cleaning the facility, including resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
* Perform sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, glass cleaning, bed making, and kitchen cleaning to support resident comfort
* Maintain infection control procedures
* Assist the Laundry team with washing, drying, pressing, folding, and returning laundry
The classification for this position will be GV90 ($52,374 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
* Food Handling Certificate (essential)
* Experience in cleaning and food handling, preferably in aged care
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
* Strong communication skills
* Previous hospital or residential facility experience preferred
* Current NDIS Check or willingness to obtain
