We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Commercial Manager at one of Australia's most memorable attractions, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne!
**About the Role**
Reporting into the General Manager, the Commercial Manager is responsible for the day-today operations of both the Retail, and Food & Beverage teams. This includes ensuring the front-line team are adequately trained and operating with the highest level of Health and Safety standards and are delivering memorable experiences to our guests.
Further responsibilities include:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Retail, and Food & Beverage outlets
- Deliver high quality guest experiences in our commercial outlets through financial and non-financial KPIs
- Review and drive improvement in current retail and food offers to maximise profit
- General team management including rostering, recruitment, and employee performance
- Drive high level of engagement within your teams
**About You**
One of the most important things for us is a positive, can do attitude. This, along with a strong customer-focused background and previous supervisory experience in Retail and/or a Food & Beverage outlet is ideal.
Experience in maximising/increasing sales, and proven team success through management of direct reports will also be looked upon highly. With responsibility for the performance of both Commercial outlets, you will also have an understanding of Health & Safety and HR requirements.
In addition, you are calm and consistent under pressure, be adaptable and able to support others through periods of change and be innovative and positive with the ability to motivate others through strong leadership skills.
