About the Role

Your responsibilities involve providing essential nursing care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare‘s Values. You will play a crucial role under the supervision of an RN to provide positive resident outcomes.
Your primary functions will be :
- Personal Care : Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Medication Administration : Administering medications as prescribed by the physician and ensuring proper documentation of medication records.
- Health Monitoring : Observing and recording residents' vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in their health condition.
- Wound Care : Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for residents with minor wounds.
- Assessment and Reporting : Conducting health assessments and reporting any changes in residents' health to the supervising RN or healthcare team and on eCase.
Skills & Experience
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards
- Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
