The Store Manager Role ($70k+super)
We're seeking a savvy retail operator who can excel in a fast-paced management environment. You'll oversee all aspects of store operations while driving sales performance and developing your team to achieve ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Staff rostering and wage budget management
* Stock control, ordering and inventory optimization
* Visual merchandising and store presentation standards
* Budget achievement and KPI performance tracking
* Team development and performance management
* Customer service excellence and sales growth initiatives
The Assistant Store Manager Role ($61k+super)
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with the day to day operation of our store. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy store to help grow this business.
As a team member you will assist the store manager to achieve the KPIs for the store.
You will need to be a savvy operator and be able to perform your duties in a timely manner. Assist with stock control, merchandising and have the ability to work in a team environment and much more. You will have the ability to communicate to all levels with ease.
Skills & Experience for Assistant Manage Role
* Previous experience in a similar environment is ideal
* A flair for merchandising who takes pride in store presentation
* Be sales driven
* Clear communication skills
* An upbeat and friendly demeanour
* Experience with a POS system
* Preferably experience and knowledge of the discount variety retail industry
* Must be available to work weekends
* Proficiency with POS systems and ideally MS Office and have high attention to detail
Essential Requirements for Store Manager
* Proven retail store management experience (essential)
* Strong merchandising flair with attention to visual presentation
* Sales-driven approach with demonstrated KPI achievement
* Experience in rostering staff within wage budgets
* Stock ordering and inventory management expertise
* Team leadership and performance management capabilities
* Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
* POS system proficiency
* Upbeat, friendly personality with natural motivational abilities
Preferred:
* Previous experience in discount variety retail sector
* Track record in high-volume retail environments
