* Do you take genuine pride in creating order, consistency, and calm within a home?
* Are you someone who naturally thinks in systems and enjoys refining how a household runs?
* Are you exceptionally reliable, punctual, and proud of maintaining high standards every single day?
We are seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and proactive housekeeper to support two busy family homes in a part-time role of 25–30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
The role involves working across two homes located just 10 minutes apart, with one home attended in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Previous holders of this role have stayed with us for years, and we are confident that the successful applicant will come to feel like a valued and trusted part of our busy families.
About You
If you answered yes to the questions above, you are someone who values excellence, structure, and consistency in your work.
You are organised, detail-oriented, and take pride in creating homes that feel well-run and cared for. You enjoy setting up and maintaining systems that make daily life easier, whether that is in wardrobes, kitchens, laundry routines, or shared family spaces.
You are dependable and punctual, and you understand how important trust and reliability are when working in family homes. You manage your time well, work efficiently, and are comfortable working independently while maintaining clear, professional communication.
You also bring a practical, solutions-focused mindset. When something is not working smoothly, you notice it and either improve it yourself or raise it thoughtfully with the family.
You find satisfaction in tasks such as careful laundry management, folding and storing clothes neatly, maintaining clean, organised spaces, and knowing that your work genuinely supports the household's rhythm.
Responsibilities Include
• Creating and maintaining home organisation systems across wardrobes, cupboards, pantry, and storage areas.
• Laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and storing, with careful attention to fabric requirements.
• Making beds, changing linens, and keeping bedrooms tidy and welcoming.
• Bathroom cleaning, including sinks, countertops, showers, and restocking linens and supplies.
• Kitchen cleaning, including benches, sinks, dishwasher loading and unloading, and maintaining a clean and sanitary space.
• Managing fridge organisation and shopping deliveries.
• Assisting with simple meal preparation and school lunches.
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, rugs, and hard floors.
• Emptying rubbish, recycling, and green waste.
• Identifying and reporting maintenance issues.
• Completing occasional errands as requested.
You Must
• Have a minimum of two years of professional housekeeping experience with strong references.
• Speak English fluently and have strong communication skills.
• Have exceptional attention to detail and high personal standards.
• Be highly reliable, punctual, and consistent.
• Hold a Working With Children Check or be willing to obtain one.
• Have a current driver's licence and your own vehicle.
• Be comfortable working in family homes and around children.
Our ideal candidate is mature, trustworthy, well-presented, and takes a professional approach to their work. You genuinely enjoy contributing to a well-run household and take pride in your role in supporting a family.
