Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain Baseline Clearance residing in Australia only respond.

- Contract start 01 March 2024 to 12 months, 2 x 12 months extensions.
- Australian Citizen, Ability to obtain Baseline Clearance, Canberra, or Offsite role.

The CIO Division provides a range of enabling services and operations delivery to the department and to Australian businesses and is seeking to engage multiple experienced and motivated Business Analysts (3 x Senior BA and 1 x Junior BA) to assist with the delivery of various ICT Projects across the Division. Applicants with more than 2 years\' relevant experience can apply for Senior BA roles; applicants with less than 2 years\' experience may be considered for the Junior BA role.

As a Business Analyst, you will have demonstrated experience:

- delivering under an Agile methodology, or proven ability to quickly adapt to and successfully deliver outcomes in a recent methodology.
- facilitating workshops, including those to identify business needs, monitor and collate data and identify competing demands.
- eliciting and documenting the detailed IT business requirements including those that specify the changes to processes, systems, people and information.
- capturing and analysing data related requirements and produce deliverables in accordance with the project schedule.
- achieving agreement and the formal sign-off of requirements by stakeholders and governance groups as required.
- constructing documentation to support the requirements definition, e.g., requirements specifications, process maps, service design artefacts, functional and non-functional requirements, change management implications, data and reporting considerations.
- conducting stakeholder engagement activities to develop the requirements and desired outcomes.

The following skills and experience will also be highly regarded:

- Provide guidance on solution capabilities and constraints available related to the implementation of platforms.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience working with and implementing other ITSM platforms for Government.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios/test cases.
- Conduct functional testing and assist business areas with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where necessary.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience working with Dynamics 365 applications with external portals.
- Experience using project management tools like Visual Studio or Azure DevOps.
