**Job Title:** Heating and Refrigeration Specialist
**About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated heating and refrigeration specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of heating and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration technology, including knowledge of air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems.
**Key Responsibilities:
* Install, service, and repair heating and refrigeration systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, refrigeration units, and ventilation systems.* Diagnose issues with heating and refrigeration systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of parts, including compressors, evaporators, thermostats, and motors.* Perform regular preventive maintenance, including cleaning, inspecting, and testing heating equipment to ensure optimal performance.* Measure and monitor system performance using diagnostic tools such as pressure gauges, thermometers, and voltmeters.* Recharge refrigerant in heating and refrigeration systems in compliance with regulations.* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to heating systems, including wiring, fuses, and control boards.* Adhere to local building codes, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines for heating and refrigeration systems.* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, explaining problems and solutions clearly, and ensuring customer satisfaction.* Maintain accurate records of service work, parts replaced, and any customer interactions in software systems.* Stay up to date with new technologies, industry trends, and best practices in heating and refrigeration.* Work both independently and as part of a team to meet company objectives and customer needs.
**Requirements:
* Current Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Trade qualifications* Restricted electrical licence* White Card* Blue Card* Proven experience as an HVAC and/or refrigeration technician with knowledge of various systems and tools.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.* Knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations.* Excellent communication and customer service skills.* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
