Launceston Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our amazing Veterinary team!! Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Veterinary Practice Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the practice, overseeing administrative tasks, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of the business. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the veterinary practice, including scheduling, client communication, inventory management & rostering.
2. Manage and lead a team of veterinary nurses, receptionists, and Veterinarians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
3. Develop your team through performance reviews, recognition rewards, and training/development.
4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize practice efficiency and workflow.
6. Handle client inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner, striving to exceed client expectations at every opportunity.
7. Coordinate with veterinarians and other staff to ensure the seamless delivery of veterinary services.
8. Monitor financial performance and work closely with the Regional Manager to develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and identify areas for improvement.
9. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee satisfaction.
About You:
10. Proven experience in veterinary practice management or Senior veterinary nursing, with a strong understanding of veterinary operations and industry trends.
11. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
12. Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail.
13. Proficiency in veterinary practice management software and other relevant computer programs.
14. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
15. A passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the highest level of care to patients and clients.
