Position Summary
As a General Labourer with Chapex Labour, you will be part of a team that helps power the construction industry through essential support work. Your role will involve assisting tradespeople, cleaning and preparing job sites, and performing a range of physical tasks that help keep projects moving.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role suited to reliable, fit and enthusiastic individuals looking to build a career in construction or earn great experience while studying or pursuing other goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manual labour duties such as loading/unloading, digging, sweeping, and site clean‑up.
* Assist trades (e.g., builders, concreters, landscapers) with basic tasks.
* Move and handle building materials, tools, and equipment.
* Operate basic hand and power tools (training provided).
* Follow safety procedures at all times and wear appropriate PPE.
* Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients and other workers.
* Arrive on time and be ready to work across various site locations.
* Perform tasks as directed by the site supervisor or scheduler.

Minimum Requirements
* Minimum 1 year site experience.
* Valid driver's licence.
* Own a vehicle (mandatory).
* Construction White Card (mandatory).
* Basic physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads.
* Steel‑capped boots, long pants and Chapex uniform.
* Ability to travel to various job sites in Perth.
* Clear communication skills (verbal and written).
