Description
Expressions of Interest are invited for the position of Relieving Operator, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant will be responsible for the operation of plant or vehicles on construction or maintenance work, along with general duties under supervision.

Essential Criteria
Interested parties should address the following Selection Criteria:
Qualifications
NSW School Certificate/Record of School Achievement or acceptable educational standard.
Previous certification of competency for load shifting equipment such as backhoe, excavator, front end loader, or skid steer loader.
NSW Class HR Drivers Licence.
Traffic Controller Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card (‘White Card’).
Desirable
Trade Certificate in Plant Operation.
Training in heavy truck operation by a qualified driver assessor.
Employment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, with classification up to Operational Band 1, Level 2, Grade 4. Salary ranges from $1,044.00 to $1,114.75 gross per week, plus a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.498 per hour where applicable.
