Job Location and Summary
Primary Location: VIC – Moolap. This road maintenance worker will join Service Stream's Transport division to conduct routine maintenance and defect rectification for pavements, footpaths, parks, and playgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled routine servicing and hazard and defect rectification works for pavements, footpaths, parks and playgrounds.
* Complete all works with a strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
* Mow parks and gardens.
* Record works‐related data in the field in line with work instructions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Participate in daily pre‐start and shift‐close meetings, contributing ideas for changes and improvements in work practices to enhance safety and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working as part of a crew maintaining pavements, footpaths, parks and playgrounds.
* Sweeper operator or experience preferred.
* Concrete footpath removal and replacement experience preferred.
* Committed team player focused on service excellence and continuous improvement.
* Track record of working with a relentless focus on worker, road user and community safety.
* Mower operations experience preferred.
* High levels of self‐motivation, exceptional time‐management skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
* Sound digital and data management skills, including familiarity with field applications for works management.
* Formal qualifications (Cert III or higher) in civil construction a bonus, but not essential if equivalent knowledge and capability can be demonstrated.
