We are seeking a self-motivated Casual Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. Ideally, the right team member is a fast learner and is enthusiastic in offering an exceptional patient service and care.
Remuneration is based on experience and level of duty required.
The successful candidate must be available to work over a 7-day roster, (weekends and evenings included) and flexible to cover personal and holiday leave on short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greeting patients
* Answering incoming calls
* Processing accounts
* Scanning, faxing and emailing.
* Managing confidential practice correspondence either electronically or paper based.
* Managing the Doctors and Nurses appointments

Desired Criteria:
* Previous experience as a Medical or Allied Health receptionist
* Best Practice Software Knowledge
* Exceptional understanding of Medicare billing, mixed billing and compliance of Medicare.
* Current CPR Certificate
* Current National Police Clearance
* Ability to prioritise and organise effectively in a busy environment
* Excellent communication and attention to detail skills
* Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
