A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Trade Yard Team Member to join our team at our Naracoortestore.
This is a full-time position on a 7 day rotating roster - mostly working Monday-Friday however the occasional weekend required
The Role
What you will be doing
1. Physical work with some heavy lifting required
2. Loading & unloading of trucks
3. Stock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policy
4. Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
5. Serving customers in the yard, helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
6. Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
7. Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products
8. Supporting with home and site deliveries
What you will bring
9. Demonstrate a strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environment
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
12. Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
13. An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
14. Ability to be available to work across a 7 day rotating roster
15. Forklift Licence and MR Truck Licence not essential but highly advantageous
