About the role:
Provision of a sound level of clinical services (which includes crisis intervention treatment, provision of psychotherapy, case management, consultation, health promotion, early identification/intervention, liaison and education) in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision.
Provide input in the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the Child and Youth Mental Health clinical services.
Actively participate in the team, including the provision of outreach services to surrounding areas and participation in extended hour's service as negotiated.
Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
Occupational Therapy
Psychology
Social Work and Working with Children Clearance
A relevant postgraduate qualification is highly desirable for this position.
Demonstrated competency knowledge and skill in specialist mental health clinical area as it pertains to children, young people and their carers and support networks.
Demonstrated ability to provide clinical professional services including assessment, treatment planning, case management and written reports as part of the multi-disciplinary team; more advanced clinicians will demonstrate the ability to provide services to more complex cases.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to the ongoing development of an evidence-based model of service delivery through participation in service evaluation, research, and quality improvement activities.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $43.68 - $58.59 p.h.
