About the role

The City of Sydney is seeking an experienced and motivated Project and Training Officer to support the effective and efficient delivery of City Cleansing and Resource Recovery services and strategy.

In this role you will:

- create, deliver and manage systems training programs (including Microsoft Dynamics, Pathway, Office 365, FileMaker Pro and other waste and local government systems) with a focus on WHS practices
- support data audits to ensure system integrity, implementing controls and providing user education
- organise training documentation securely and support the creation of standard operating procedures
- support change management in the implementation of new systems and procedures
- provide project support in delivering business improvement initiatives
- build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will have relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience), and demonstrated experience in project and change management, training delivery, and business improvement. Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills are essential, as is a Class C driverâs licence.

This role has the option of a rostered day off each month, known as a 19-day month.Â
