About the role
:
As Pathways Team Leader you will:
1. Provide team leadership to the Clinical Team who is responsible for case management, counselling and group work delivery, supporting the team to provide integrated, holistic wrap around support, to work alongside vulnerable/marginalized communities
2. Hub oversight of a multidisciplinary team, including students, and volunteers
3. Demonstrate, promote, and support BaptistCare’s values, guided by our theories and principles of best practice
The successful candidate will have:
4. Degree or Diploma in Counselling, Social Work, or related field
5. Demonstrate exceptional leadership and provide guidance to the team during client crises, leveraging problem-solving skills, high-level client intervention skills, advocacy skills, and knowledge of the service sector to drive successful outcomes
6. Minimum of three (3) years working in a Counselling &/or community-based Case Worker role
7. Mental Health First Aid accreditation, Trauma Informed Care training (or willingness to participate in training)
8. Child Protection training / knowledge / experience
9. Ability to work within an integrated approach that is person centred and includes strengths base, narrative
10. Experience working with women from CALD backgrounds (sex workers, DV, LGBT+ communities) or individuals who may be experiencing complex concerns
11. Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
12. Demonstrate a deep understanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and enthusiastically promote the organisation's values through every interaction at work.
13. Hold a current Working with Children Check
14. Current NSW Drivers Licence
