Our LEGO Certified Store in Townsville is looking for its new energetic Sales Associate. The store features life-sized LEGO models, a Pick-a-Brick wall, hard to find product releases and amazing bricks in hands engagement opportunities. Designed in partnership with the LEGO Group, this store is an integral part of our LEGO Certified Store network and the home of LEGO in Townsville.
Your Role:
As a Casual Sales Associate, you will be providing support to the store management team to help achieve KPI results, deliver an excellent, fun customer experience in store, and cultivate an inclusive & collaborative team culture. You will act as a key holder and will be involved with open/closing store operations. This role is ideal for someone that is looking to take on extra responsibility than your average sales assistant.
Your Purpose:
* Provide operational support to the store management team by assisting with store opening and closing routines, register functions and back-office procedures.
* Work closely with the store management team to fulfill online orders and execute in-store activations.
* Support efficient inventory management including stocktakes & cycle counts.
* Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards and store activations.
* Help build a positive, collaborative team environment that promotes a safe & fun atmosphere.
* Share your knowledge and passion for LEGO to help educate the team on our product range and help develop their sales skills.
To be successful for this role:
* Have retail sales experience and customer service experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
* Reflect professionalism but recognise the importance of a fun, encouraging and welcoming team environment and have a genuine passion for LEGO
* Be self-motivated, driven, results orientated and can demonstrate success in achieving KPI's within a retail atmosphere
* Demonstrate an ability to develop, inspire and coach a small team of retail professionals and can connect the team to the essence of the LEGO brand
