Position: Dental Assistants (Experienced or Trainee)
* Combines Dental Assisting and Dental Reception.
* This position would suit a receptionist wanting to learn dental assisting or a dental assistant wanting to learn reception.
Type: Full-Time or 2 x Part-time
* Full-time role 76 hours per fortnight.
* Part- time role depends on applicants requirements
* Flexible scheduling available based on your availability and our team needs.
* Additional days may be offered.

About You:

Ideal Candidate:
* Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (experience is highly desirable but not essential).
* We have an excellent training program and will train the right person
* A genuine passion for learning and growing in the dental field.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport.
* High standards of quality and attention to detail.
* Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
* Basic computer skills; familiarity with dental software (like Ultimo) is a plus.
* Willingness to learn administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and processing payments.
* Good hand skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with a variety of dental procedures and chairside support.
* Manage instrument sterilization and lab work.
* Engage in digital scanning, 3D printing, and chairside milling.
* Fabricate in house appliances
* Support implant surgeries and maintain high standards of infection control.
* Manage appointment scheduling and patient records, ensuring a smooth flow of operations.
* Create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient and their families.
Our Hours of Operation:
* Monday: :45 AM – 5:30 PM
* Tuesday: :45 AM – 6:00 PM
* Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM
* Thursday: :45 AM – 5:30 PM
* Friday: :45 AM – 4:00 PM
Leave Entitlements:
* Full-time and part-time staff receive 4 weeks of annual leave, which can be taken at any time.
* An additional 2 weeks of Leave Without Pay during the Christmas shutdown (paid annual leave can be used).
* Annual leave can be taken at half rate at any time.
* Long-term staff may negotiate additional paid leave in lieu of pay raises to a maximum of 6 weeks paid annual leave per year.
Compensation:
* Remuneration is based on experience and qualifications, following the WA Award System.
* Inexperienced, unqualified trainees have a probationary, above award training rate which increases upon successful completion of probation.
* Competitive above award rates for qualified candidates based on experience and negotiations, with annual pay raises as standard.
* Out of cycle pay raises can be requested via a formal pay increase request.
Commencement:
* The ideal start date will be based on candidate availability: ASAP
