Job Title: Healthcare Team Manager
Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead a team of allied health professionals in delivering high-quality care to our community age care customers in the Bundaberg region. This role involves providing daily leadership, management, support and guidance for a team of allied health professionals, as well as participating in customer care and allied health service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals in delivering high-quality care to our customers
* Provide clinical supervision, team development, and training
* Participate in customer care and allied health service delivery in your specific discipline
* Report accurate and timely allied health updates
* Ensure the provision of clinical excellence, evidence-based clinical care, quality, effectiveness, and high standards of allied health services
* Contribute to operational quality assurance and improvement practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Post-secondary or tertiary qualification in an Allied Health discipline and current registration with AHPRA or other professional body
* Advanced level of allied health skills and demonstrated experience in community age care health service delivery
* Proven ability in the leadership of multidisciplinary allied health teams, including the provision of supervision and the facilitation of allied health review and management of risk for less experienced staff
* Demonstrated ability to apply continuous quality improvement principles in service development
* Demonstrated experience working with varied stakeholders (e.g. clinicians, non-clinical staff, managers, community members) combined with high level customer service skills and proven track record in building positive relationships and trust
