We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient ICT Support Technician to join our growing support team.
Role Summary:
This role is responsible for providing first and second-level technical support to users, coordinating IT service requests, and assisting in the ongoing improvement of helpdesk operations and IT system reliability.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to internal IT service requests and support tickets via phone, email and helpdesk platforms
* Determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
* Responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems
* Adapting existing programs to meet users' requirements
* Installing and downloading appropriate software
* Ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment
* Implementing computer networks
* Maintaining web sites and manage domains
* Repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Diploma in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent 3+ years' experience in a technical support role)
* Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
* Familiarity with basic networking and remote support tools
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
* Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment
