Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and installation of landscapes, including planting, paving, and retaining walls.
- Learn how to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Work closely with the team to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard.
- Learn to work efficiently in a busy landscaping environment.
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer.
Qualifications
- Must have interest and commitment to work in Construction.
- Must hold a White Card or be able to obtain it as soon as possible.
- Hold a current Driver's License and have own reliable transport.
- Participation in a Pre‐Apprenticeship course or Certificate I or II Construction course is advantageous.
- Work Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable:
- Must be physically fit & able to work outdoors.
- Be reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a quick‐paced environment.
- Able to take direction.
