Our client is a leading provider of passive fire protection services, specialising in consultation, installation, certification, and compliance for both new and existing buildings. They have been operating for 10+ years and have strong partnerships across construction, government, and facility management sectors. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality, compliant fire protection solutions that safeguard people, assets, and infrastructure.
Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Passive Fire Auditor to join their growing team. This role will see you delivering detailed site inspections, compliance audits, and reporting across a range of residential and new construction projects. Working closely with builders, contractors, and asset owners, you will play a key role in ensuring passive fire systems meet regulatory standards and perform as intended.
Responsibilities
* Conducting site-based passive fire audits and inspections
* Identifying defects, non‐compliance issues, and risks within fire‐rated systems
* Preparing detailed audit reports, including photographic evidence and recommendations
* Reviewing fire compartmentation, penetrations, and fire stopping systems
* Assisting with AFSS (Annual Fire Safety Statement) inspections and documentation
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to drive compliance outcomes
Qualifications
We would love to hear from candidates with previous experience within the Fire industry as a Passive Fire Auditor, Passive Fire Technician or Passive Fire Installer. Candidates who have FPAS accreditation would be preferred. Given the business is in an exciting growth stage there are opportunities for career development for the right people.
Compensation
As a Passive Fire Auditor your salary will be around $100‐130K plus super depending on experience.
