About Us
Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn Education Limited (CECG) plays an integral role in education in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and nine Early Learning Centres (ELCs). The Catholic Education Office (CEO) provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools, ELCs and the CEO through seven service areas. These Service Areas include: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology; and People and Culture.
About the Role
This role supports the Commercial and Procurement Deputy Manager in delivering strategic procurement initiatives. The Deputy Procurement Manager manages end-to-end procurement activities, represents the function as needed, and ensures alignment on key decisions. The role also involves briefing stakeholders on procurement policy, including those unfamiliar with procurement practices.
Responsibilities
- Support the Commercial and Procurement Deputy Manager in delivering strategic procurement initiatives.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities and represent the function as needed.
- Ensure alignment on key procurement decisions and brief stakeholders on procurement policy.
Qualifications
- Relevant industry and subject matter experience.
- Relevant procurement-related tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
- Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration
- NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current Driver’s Licence.

Compensation
- Base pay range: A$130,000.00/yr - A$140,000.00/yr
