Our client, a very large, Federal Government Organisation, are Seeking the experience of a Satellite Communications Engineer for a month contract.
Responsibilities:
* Integration of high performance, low-maintenance satellite terminals
* Deployment of NGSO capabilities to pilot sites
* Maintenance of high-risk GEO location
* Ability to mentor or provide technical guidance to junior engineers or field technicians.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including architecture, cyber
assurance, and regional technical officers
Experience:
* Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and/or Communications / (2) Diploma of Engineering in Electronics and/or Communications
* Experience supporting government or defence satellite communications projects.
* Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in satellite communications engineering, including GEO and NGSO systems.
* Strong understanding of RF and microwave communication systems, including design, testing, and optimisation.
* Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing high-availability WAN services, including satellite-based connectivity solutions that ensure reliable and resilient communications across geographically dispersed locations.
* Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation, including high-level designs and maintenance plans.
