Design & Build Recruitment – Osborne Park WA
A well-established, design-led custom home builder in Perth is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team. With a steady pipeline of projects typically between $1M and $3M, you'll be part of a team that values craftsmanship, collaboration, and thoughtful design. This role is primarily estimating-focused, with exposure to scheduling. You'll work closely with internal design and construction teams to ensure accurate cost planning and smooth progression from concept to contract.
Responsibilities
* Full-scope estimating from early design through to final contract documentation
* Preparing Bills of Quantities, tender packages, and trade comparisons
* Liaising with consultants, suppliers, and internal teams
* Reviewing and negotiating trade and supplier pricing
* Supporting scheduling, procurement, and pre-construction planning
* Assisting with value management and cost optimisation
About You
* Proven experience estimating WA custom homes is essential
* Strong knowledge of single and double-storey construction
* Solid understanding of local construction methods, finishes, and Perth market rates
* Proficient with estimating software (Truth Engine desirable)
* Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
